The network
Six sanctuaries, five states.
WolfHaven runs a national network of regionally based sanctuaries, each open to every kind of animal — companion, farm and wild — and each run for the community around it.

III. How a sanctuary joins
One standard, many places.
Every site shares the parent organization’s mission, governance, brand standards, financial controls and animal-care protocols, and tailors its programs, partnerships and community engagement to its region.
1
Shared standards
Veterinary and behavioral protocols, intake criteria, enrichment standards and reporting are the same at every site.
2
Shared services
Dallas provides centralized fundraising infrastructure, research and advocacy support, and back-office services.
3
Local leadership
A regional team runs the site, cultivates local donors and builds partnerships with the shelters and agencies around it.
IV. Next
What happens inside each one.
Rescue, rehabilitation, lifelong care, education and research.
